Learn the audition step-by-step in this video tutorial. You can watch this video as many times as you need to learn the steps.
Listen to the audition songs and choose the one that best shows off your singing abilities! Use this video to hear a vocal example, and practice over and over again to the same instrumental track we will use in the audition!
For more information and more practice, we will have an OPTIONAL pre-audition workshop Tuesday November 11th from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the choir room. Here, the directors can answer questions, explain the audition process, provide some tips for a good audition, tell you more about the show & give you chance to practice as a group.

- Audition Information - This is where you will find the detailed instructions of what you need to do for your auditions. Be sure to read it through carefully so you don't miss a step! PLUS there are helpful hints and tips from the directors on how to excel in your audition!
- Audition Song Lyrics - Here are the lyrics for all 3 songs choices. Pick one and master it!
- Audition Monologues - These are the two monologues that will be used in your audition. The boys will read for Lord Farquaad and the girls Fiona.
- Performer Contract - All students auditioning must have parent permission and agree to our musical policies. Make sure to read through everything carefully so you fully understand the expectations for being in this show!
- Tentative Calendars for December, January, February and March - Check out these calendars when filling out your audition form. Really consider if you are able to make the time commitment to be in this show!
