I always try to choose musicals that have a message that really applies to all those involved in the show! Shrek has some real, true-life principles that are EXACTLY what I want each of my students to come away with! I want my students to feel empowered against any bullying they encounter in life. We are each special and our differences should be celebrated! This musical embraces the idea of loving yourself how you are and being the best person you can be!
